The Importance of Travel

The 'last frontier' is still out there!

For me, travel isn't just about relaxing on a beach or giggling on a rollercoaster. It's about constantly refreshing my sense of wonder. Every journey holds the potential for surprise, delight, and the discovery of something that rewrites my understanding of the world. It's the last great avenue for adventure, a chance to be a modern-day explorer of knowledge and experience.

Traveling with my family and friends is a way to connect with loved ones on a deeper level, forging shared memories and adventures that strengthen our bonds. Solo travel becomes a stepping stone, a nudge outside your comfort zone that leads to unexpected surprises and moments of pure delight. Every local interaction, and every breathtaking vista absorbed alone, you'll discover a newfound sense of independence and resilience.

Travel is a journey of self-discovery as much as it is a geographical one, and the personal growth that unfolds and the memories you make are the most beautiful souvenirs you'll bring home.

Teaching and Travel

Teaching and travel have always been my calling. I graduated from St. Olaf College and went on to Macalester College for my degree in Elementary Education.  Between school and teaching, I've traveled as far as Australia, Europe, Iceland, Finland, Denmark, North and Central America.

My passion for travel and teaching has made it possible for me to help others who have dreams of visiting destinations here at home or around the world.

Do I love Disney?  Yes! I have a soft spot for Disney, but there are so many places and opportunities to explore and experience.  I would be honored to help you build the perfect vacation, whether it be a dream trip to Disney World, or a river cruise through the Iron Gate on the Danube River,  or a land tour through colorful Columbia.

I am based in Minnesota and work with customers all across the United States.

Let me know what kind of vacation you've been imagining and I will work with you to make it happen. My mission is to guide you from our first conversation through to your return home from an amazing destination.
